For the modern wanderer

Travel the open web — safe and unseen.

A free VPN you earn as you go. 20+ Sanctums. 10 GB on signup, 1 GB every 24 hours, plus megabytes you earn from displayed ads.

Chrome · No account required · No card · 10 GB ready on install

How it works

Three small motions. A road that keeps giving.

01 — Embark

Pick a Sanctum

Choose a country to route through. Your traffic leaves from there; the open web sees you arriving from there. Switch any time.

02 — Browse

Travel as usual

Piligrim quietly replaces up to 3 display ads per page with its own. Page content, layout, and your activity are never touched.

03 — Earn

Megabytes for every step

Each ad you actually see — measured against the industry-standard viewability bar — credits Steps to your wallet. 1 Step = 1 MB.

Two wallets, one journey

Free traffic to start. Earn premium as you walk.

Both buckets stack. Both are yours forever. The only way the balance ever drops is if you spend it on actual traffic.

Free quota

Datacenter VPN

10 GB on signup. 1 GB every 24 hours.

Fast, broadly compatible servers. Your daily claim stacks forever and never expires. Tap once, embark anywhere.

  • Welcome bonus credited on consent
  • Daily claim, claimable in one tap
  • Stacks; balance only drops when spent
Earned

Residential VPN

Megabytes you earn — measured in Steps.

Routed through real consumer-ISP residential IPs — virtually indistinguishable from any other home internet. Great when datacenter ranges get blocked.

  • Earned from displayed ads (1 Step = 1 MB)
  • Higher payout in Gold & Silver Path countries
  • Cryptographically signed receipts

Sanctums

20+ countries. One staff. Pick where the road ends.

A Sanctum is a country you can route through. Embark from one, and the open web sees you arriving from there. Switch any time — your wallet travels with you.

Both datacenter and residential exits available. Lists grow as the road does.

Paths

Where you start shapes how much you earn.

Piligrim pays per ad view, scaled by your real country tier. Your active Sanctum doesn't change the rate — your home does. Country is detected from your real IP, never the proxy.

Silver Path

Copper Path
2.4 MB
Bronze Path

Privacy, plainly

A road, not a corridor of extraction.

Piligrim is a casual-use, free VPN. We collect the bare minimum to make the ad-replacement loop honest, and we tell you exactly what that is.

We do not collect

  • Page URLs, query parameters, content, cookies, forms
  • Personal info — no name, email, phone, account required
  • Cross-site behavior, fingerprinting, ad-tech identifiers

We do store, transparently

  • An anonymous install ID, generated locally
  • Your country — used only for ad rates
  • Bare domain names of pages visited while VPN is on
  • Ad-view events you generate, signed cryptographically

GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and Ukrainian data law compliant. Revoke everything by uninstalling — there is no server-side handle on your identity beyond what the install gave us. Piligrim is a road, not a fortress: if you need privacy adequate for high-stakes situations, use a paid commercial VPN built for that purpose.

FAQ

Questions you'll have on the road.

Is Piligrim really free?
Yes. There is no card, no trial, no premium tier hidden behind the install button. The 10 GB welcome bonus and 1 GB daily claim are free forever. You only need to watch a few replaced ads while browsing to earn premium residential traffic.
How are you paying for it, then?
When Piligrim is on, it replaces a small number of third-party display ads (up to 3 per page) with its own. The revenue from those ads pays for the proxy bandwidth and credits you Steps for each one you actually see.
Is this a real VPN, or just a proxy trick?
It is a real browser-level VPN powered by an enterprise proxy network. Traffic from your browser is routed through a chosen Sanctum, your apparent IP changes accordingly. Both datacenter and residential exits are available, with residential being virtually indistinguishable from any home internet connection.
Which browsers does it support?
Piligrim is a Manifest V3 extension. It works in Chrome 110+ and other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi). Firefox is not supported and not planned.
Will it work for streaming and banking?
Datacenter exits are fast and broadly compatible, but some services block known datacenter ranges. Residential exits — earned via Steps — solve that. They look like ordinary home internet, so most streaming services and banking sites accept them.
What does Piligrim know about my browsing?
Bare domain names of pages visited while the VPN is on (e.g. "example.com"), so we can match ad-network rules to the site. Never URLs, query strings, page content, cookies, or forms. See the Privacy section above for the full list.
What happens to my Steps if I uninstall?
They live in a server-side ledger keyed to your anonymous install ID. Reinstalling on the same machine restores the balance via the same key; uninstalling permanently revokes everything. There is no other handle on your identity to recover from.

Walk slowly. The orb on the staff is steady.

One click. Grant blessing on the consent screen. You start with 10 GB. The road is open.
